Kitesurfing
Updated on 17 May 2015

Dubai is the perfect playground for beginners and experienced kite addicts, with warm seas and favourable winds throughout the season. There are two fantastic beaches dedicated for kitesurfing and most afternoons you will find both beaches packed with Dubai kiters and spectators.

The Kitesurf season runs from September to May, although the Summer months can get the sea breeze. Large kites are commonly used here as the wind is generally light, but there are some great days when you will see the 9m kites in action. Visitors and residents are welcome to use their own equipment and rental equipment is available to those with experience. Complete beginners and those needing a refresher can book lessons through White Water Sports.
