Updated on 07 June 2023

Dubai Sports World, the multi-purpose indoor sporting venue, was officially opened by His Excellency Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of Dubai Sports Council.

Mahir Julfar, Executive Vice President of Venue Services Management at Dubai World Trade Centre was also present, along with radio jockey Kris Fade, who hosted the event.

The large indoor sporting venue has returned for its 13th edition and offers multiple sporting activities to stay active this summer.

Running until 10 September at Za'abeel Halls 2 to 6 in Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai Sports World is home to 40 courts and pitches for numerous sports including football, cricket, badminton and table tennis.

The venue will also host daily classes at the dedicated gym and fitness studio.

From 15 June, Dubai Sports World will launch 'Dubai Kids World', where little ones can have a blast at the soft play area, with slides and ball pits.

Free family-friendly activities like retro video games, arm wrestling, giant jenga and mini golf will be available.

Around 12 academies around Dubai will also host summer camps for children aged three years old and over, where they can work on their skills in karate, tennis and basketball.
