Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival

Where Waterfront Market

Waterfront Market is set to host the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival this weekend, and will see over 60 teams compete in 200-metre races. Dragon boat racing began 2,500 years ago in China and this is the first time the Hong Kong Dragon Boat festival will be held at Waterfront Market. The teams for the races will be divided into five categories, open, mixed, women, corporate and community. Spectators can enjoy the different races over the two days while visiting Waterfront Market.
