Italian Film Week Returns To Dubai!
Updated on 06 June 2023

Cinema Akil, an independent cinema in Dubai, is bringing the annual Italian Film Week this June.

Cinephiles can enjoy watching seven feature films, with genres including drama, comedy, biography, and history, at the 3rd edition running from 9 to 15 June.

The first movie 'L'Immensita' starring Penelope Cruz, will revolve around love, passion and freedom, set in Rome in the 70s.

Fans can enjoy '8 1/2', which is a coming-of-age story, paying homage to Federico Fellini, an Italian filmmaker.

Individuals can also watch 'La Strada', released in 1954, and 'Nights of Cabiria' in 1957.

For more information on the film schedules, visit the Cinema Akil website.
