Dubai Safari Set To Open For A New Season
Updated on 23 September 2021

Dubai Safari Park is set to return for the new season from 27 September onwards.

As travel restrictions are easing and Dubai is hosting Expo 2020, Dubai Safari Park, along with other tourist hotspots are sure to experience an increase in visitor interest.

The park will offer visitors a diverse range of animals from across the world that live in climate-controlled environments, similar to that of their natural habitat.

The Dubai Safari Park has the world's first drive-through crocodile exhibit, the largest group of baboons in the UAE and a drive-through for the hippopotamus and tiger exhibits.

It is currently home to 3,000 animals and 111 different kinds of birds.

With the new season, guests can see over 111 newborns at the park and will see a variety of exhibitions including the Leopard Exhibition, the birds show, a display of amazing creatures of the world and birds of prey.

Various locations in the park like the Arabian Desert Safari have been redeveloped to make it more engaging for visitors with the area for the wolves expanded as well as unique formations of sand dunes and water developed to create a suitable environment for the animals.

Guests can delight in feeding the animals and taking souvenir photos.

The park will, for the first time, give visitors a behind the scenes experience where guests can go close to the animals, learn about their habitat and the ways to take care of them.

With the Safari Journey Package, visitors can enter the African Village, the Explorer Village, the Safari Journey, the Asian Village, the Arabian Desert Safari and the Kids Farm as well as get access to the train service and reserved seats in the live shows.

Ahmed Al Zarooni, Director of Public Parks and Recreational Facilities Department at Dubai Municipality said, "The Park offers an immersive animal safari experience that is among the best in the world. Not only can visitors come face to face with diverse animals, including ungulates, carnivores, birds, reptiles, primates and small mammals, including several endangered ones, they also have opportunities to learn about their nature and habitats in detail. The new season of the Park will feature an exciting array of shows, events, exhibitions and activities that offer unique recreational and educational experiences for visitors.”
