Dubai Shopping Festival is here for its Silver Jubilee 25th edition and it goes without saying that the home-grown world class shopping event is bigger than ever and is packed with excitement. The festival opened on Thursday, 26 December 2019 with a spectacular opening ceremony at Burj Park, Downtown Dubai and will run until Saturday, 1 February, featuring 38 days packed with show-stopping performances, exciting experiences, family-friendly celebrations, lots of discounts and huge raffle draws.

Here’s everything you should look forward to during the festival:

DSF Surprises

Every year, DSF goes all out to bring a variety of entertainment to create a fun filled experience each and every day, and this edition is no different

Headline Concerts
After a power packed performance by Rahet Ali in December, DSF team is bringing Egyptian superstar Amr Diab to perform at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre on 24 January.

An Evening With Rio Ferdinand
Catch up with Manchester United and England football legend, Rio Ferdinand who will be presenting a live, unscripted interview at W Dubai, The Palm on 8 January sharing some of the personal stories and behind the scenes anecdotes of his illustrious career.

Yalla DSF (Presented By Club Group)

This year DSF extends discounts on dining and includes more than 1,000 restaurants where you can get a minimum of 25% dine-in discounts in collaboration with Zomato Gold Membership.


Shopping at DSF goes beyond the malls with special themed markets setting up to showcase different products and crafts.

DSF Outdoor Markets
Visit a series of pop-up markets which will appear across the city at Last Exit - Al Khawaneej, Al Rigga Street and City Walk 2, combining a heritage, retail and entertainment experience for all.

Souk Heritage
Inspired by the bustling souks of the UAE, a traditional style market along the 1.8km of the Dubai Creek will let visitors enjoy cultures from around the world. Shop, eat and soak in the festive vibes, heritage and traditional touch.

Market Outside The Box (MOTB)
MOTB returns from 16 January 2020 to 1 February 2020, with a live showcase of the hottest up-and-coming local, regional and international musicians and bands, as well as fashion and food vendors. Additionally, an enclosed experiential game zone taking up to 24 gamers, and a dedicated kids zone will make hearts race with adrenaline and keep visitors coming back for more.
