Dubai Water Canal Is 6 Months Old Today

Dubai Water Canal was inaugurated six months ago by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who marked the opening ceremony on 9 November 2016 by pressing a button that sent laser beams racing through and along the canal’s bridges. The Dhs 3.7 billion project between Roads & Transport Authority (RTA), Meydan and Meeras connects Business Bay with the Arabian Gulf.
