Founding Fathers Exhibition
For such a young country the UAE is certainly not short of history. The new Founding Fathers exhibition at Etihad Museum gives the opportunity to view the UAE’s rich legacy captured in a rare collection of photographs that display the country's early days and features its founding fathers, captured by photographer Ramesh Shukla.
Founding Fathers describes the country’s past and its speedy and exciting development and growth, highlighting key moments that lead to the establishment of the Union in December 1971. The photograph.
This insight into the country’s past is ideal for l ages and runs from Eid Al Adha until the end of the year. The entrance to the exhibition is free with each entry ticket to the Etihad Museum museum.

Eid Al Adha Fireworks
Get dazzled by the most spectacular Eid Al Adha firework display at Dubai Festival City Mall on 11 and 12 August. Visitors can enjoy the colourful sky bursting show along with a Eid special choreographed light and water show, IMAGINE. Two shows at 8pm and 10pm will entertain the visitors on both the days, All shows are free of charge.

Eid Special Screening Of Fast And The Furious: Hobbs And Shaw
Dubai Opera is hosting a special screening of Fast and the Furious: Hobbs and Shaw over Eid from 11 to 13 August. The offshoot of a famous Hollywood franchise film Fast and Furious, Hobbs and Shaw is a story of two arch-enemies Hobbs played by Dwayne Johnson and Shaw played by Jason Statham. The film progresses as these two fight against a rebel, coming on the same side to defeat them together. The ticket prices start from Dhs 60.

This Eid The Dubai Mall brings back storytelling sessions with Arabic grandfatherly folklore Sheibitna for children. Sky Pole Show
This Eid holiday, malls are truly becoming indoor entertainment hubs. From 11 to 14 August, City Centre Mirdif will be hosting a magical Sky Pole at 4pm, 6pm, 7.30pm and 9pm. The jaw-dropping show sees six acrobats performing on the Sky Pole and on the floor to traditional Arabic tunes. Entry is free.

Fantasy Stage Show
This Eid Al Adha, Mall of The Emirates is setting up a fantastic entertainment stage featuring aerialists, dancers, gymnasts and more performing to entertaining music, plus a live singer performance which will expected to elevate the fun levels. Everyone has a chance to see this show which will be on four times a day until 16 August. Catch the fantasyland performances for free this Eid weekend.

The 1975
The 1975 are set to entertain fans in the UAE with their high-energy and innovative live show that they have become famous for the world over, including headline performances at Coachella and Lollapalooza. The four-piece band from Manchester, UK have been playing together since 2002 and has recently won two Brits Music Awards.Entry starts from Dhs 200.
