What to see

Miracle Garden

What better way to experience Dubai’s cooler months than amidst true nature? Dubai Miracle Garden stretches out over 72,000sqm. The gorgeous garden showcases some of the world’s most identifiable structures in full bloom - covered in flowers. The venue is home to more than 50 million flowers throughout a number of different exhibits. The park also holds the Guiness World Record for the world’s largest flower arrangement, in the form of an Airbus A380 made entirely by flowers.

Dubai Miracle Garden has also gained celebrity status when it featured in a scene of a Bollywood movie Hamari Adhuri Kahani, starring Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan. The director, Mohit Suri, stated that although Dubai was generally known for its high-tech buildings and modern landscapes, he wanted to romanticise it and show its softer side. As the garden was launched in 2013 on Valentine’s Day, it truly is one of the most romantic places in the city.

The park features a Butterfly Garden which is home to over 35,000 species of butterflies, in nine different habitat domes. The garden is closed during the summer in which a team of expert horticulturists repopulate the park with new flowers that would not survive the heat. In April 2015, the garden was awarded the Moselle Award for New Garden Experiences of the year by the Garden Tourism Award 2015.
