Starting today, there’s free Wi-Fi in the UAE
Updated on 30 August 2017

Telecommunications service provider Etisalat will offer residents and tourists free Wi-Fi across the UAE, starting today. Available until 9th September (aka the Eid Al Adha period), users will be able to connect to the internet, using mobile devices, across malls, cafes, restaurants and even beaches and parks.

Users need to connect to the ‘UAE WiFi by Etisalat’ signal. After a one-time registration, they will receive a SMS with a PIN from Etisalat. Their mobile number can then be used as the login and the PIN as the password. Say hello to hours of browsing and social media. Users can visit www.etisalat.ae/wifi or use the ‘Around Me’ interactive map on Etisalat’s app to find the exact location of Wi-Fi hotspots in the UAE.
