Opera superstars Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov will perform in Dubai next month

Opera fans rejoice – superstars of the international opera world, Anna Netrebko and her husband Yusif Eyvazov will be in Dubai for a special performance on the 21st of September. For those who don’t know much about the reigning prima donna, she was the first classical musician to be featured on Time Magazine’s Time 100 list of the world’s most influential people. The Russian soprano also received a 11-minute ovation for her season-opening appearance in the title role of Verdi’s Giovanna d’Arco at La Scala. Award-winning Azerbaijani baritone Elchin Azizov will be joining the couple for this one-night-only performance. The programme will include classics from opera masterpieces by Verdi, Puccini, Giordano, Leoncavallo and many others. Tickets go on sale at 12pm on 28th August.
