Ras Al Khaimah has welcomed experienced health and fitness enthusiast Nicholas Watson, along with six fellow cyclists to the emirate during their mission to pedal across the length and breadth of the United Arab Emirates to raise awareness of keeping active.

Drawing personal inspiration to race with his son Rio, who was born with a rare chromosome deletion, Watson truly epitomises the values of UAE National Sports National Day. Through positive interaction and cohesion, he has shown that there are no barriers to enjoying the experience of sports as part of an intimate community.
