A Night at the Opera

The Dubai Opera House recently opened its doors with a fabulous line up of events being held this month. Visit www.dubaiopera.com for a list of more shows and online bookings.

José Carreras  

After his triumphant comeback to the opera stage, legendary Tenor José Carreras comes to Dubai during his final world tour. See him at Dubai Opera between 4th and 8th October. Ticket prices are Dhs 450, Dhs 700 and Dhs 900.

Omar Khairat  
One of the most successful and well-respected Egyptian composers of all times, Omar Khairat, will be accompanied by his incredible orchestra, live at Dubai Opera, for the first time on Thursday 6th October. Ticket prices are Royal (Dhs 1,300), Platinum (Dhs 900), VIP (Dhs 500) and Gold (Dhs 375).
   
Hussain Al Jassmi  

Emirati singing sensation Hussain Al Jassmi takes a place of pride in the inaugural season of the Dubai Opera featuring world class talents from across the world. See him on Monday 10th October. Ticket categories are Premium - Dhs 1,800, Box (Admits 5) - Dhs 9,000, Box (Admits 4) - Dhs 7,200, Box (Admits 10) - Dhs 8,500, and Reserve - Dhs 500 - Dhs 1,500.

Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons  

No Baroque work is more familiar than Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, yet Italian violinist Fabio Biondi and his talented ensemble, Europa Galante, will make you feel as though you’re hearing it for the first time with this imaginative and fresh approach. This special night will take place at Dubai Opera on Tuesday 11th October and ticket prices range from
Dhs 200 to Dhs 800.
 
Sara Baras, Voces Suite Flamenca
Voces, Suite Flamenca is the brand new show from Sara Baras, Spain’s most popular flamenco star. Celebrated for her brilliant footwork and captivating stage presence, she is adored by the international press as “one of those performers you just can’t take your eyes off” (Dail Telegraph). See her at Dubai Opera on 13th and 14th October. Ticket prices range from Dhs 250 to Dhs 850.
