Gold Souk
Updated on 13 September 2017

Even if you are not looking for anything specific, the Gold Souk is worth a visit to see the glittering array of merchandise on offer (especially in the evening). Approximately 10 tons of gold is present at any given time in the souk. There are over 1,000 jewellery shops in Dubai, and it is one of the cheapest cities in the world to buy gold jewellery. If you are looking to buy, don’t feel pressured into deciding at the first shop. There's plenty of choice and everyone's prepared to bargain.
