Football Fun And Fitness For Grown Ups
Updated on 25 February 2021

Adults looking to try a new fitness program, and parents who spend their weekday evenings on the sidelines watching their kids learn football skills, and longing to have a go themselves, can now do just that with a new fitness program that uses football skills and drills to burn calories and strengthen muscles, while having fun at the same time.

A new adults football fitness program run by long established soccer academy Soccer Kids Dubai, has been launched due to requests from parents and other adults, who wanted to try something different outside of the gym to improve fitness levels. The program currently runs weekly at Dubai British School in The Springs each Tuesday evening with plans to increase the number of sessions and locations in coming weeks.

Ben McBride, Managing Partner at Soccer Kids Dubai said "We have been asked increasingly more often recently if we can run programs for adults, who want to do sorting that little bit different to get more active, get a bit fitter and have fun at the same time, and we came up with the new tailor made program. We held the first session on Tuesday and we had a full class, and we will now continue weekly at Dubai British School each Tuesday adding a second class there for now as well."

"The first session was exactly what we were hoping for, a mixture of abilities, and ages and a combination of mums and dads. We want to it be inclusive and we were pleased it was from the get go."

"The sessions are fun and include warm ups and a number of different drills covering different muscles and techniques for 40 minutes, and then we break up and have a 6 a side match for 20 minutes."

Those interested can book sessions online on the Soccer Kids Dubai website or call 052 951 5598.
