Nakheel Crosses Dhs 1.2 Billion Milestone From Sales Of Ready-To-Occupy Villas
Updated on 06 October 2020

Dubai property developer Nakheel announced that it has achieved more than AED 1.2 billion from the sales of ready-to-occupy family homes since March, according in a statement released on Monday.

The commendable milestone comes in the wake of an increase in the number of buyers taking their step on the property ladder or upgrading to larger homes.

Luxury family villas at Al Furjan are all sold out with over 500 homes purchased between March and September 2020, announced the property giant.

Nakheel has now released phase six of its Nad Al Sheba luxury homes, with nearly 450 properties in the area having been taken.

Aqil Kazim, Nakheel Chief Commercial Officer, said: “The last six months has seen a surge in sales of spacious, high quality family accommodation, with investors taking advantage of favourable deals to buy their first home or move to a bigger one.”

“Lifestyle changes in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic have boosted demand for more indoor and outdoor family living space. With the cooler weather approaching, people will be even more keen to have a garden of their own. Having sold out at Al Furjan, we continue to close deals at Nad Al Sheba on a daily basis, and are gearing up for heightened sales activity in the coming weeks.”

The Nad Al Sheba community is a firm favourite amongst UAE and GCC nationals because of its convenient location and close proximity to a number of retail outlets.
