Waterfront Market - Everything You Could Want, Under One Roof
Updated on 20 September 2020

If you have not yet visited the Waterfront Market located along the Deira corniche, then you are missing out on a shopping and dining experience like nothing else in Dubai

From the region’s largest seafood market, local and imported meat, fruit, vegetables and a wide choice of spices to everyday groceries, there’s a lot you can find under one roof at Waterfront Market.

But it’s not all about the top quality produce, there are also plenty of gorgeous waterfront restaurants to be discovered along the promenade.

Oh, and did we mention that the venue boasts a Lulu Hypermarket and a dry goods market too?

Known as a one-stop shop for all things fresh, the market has become the ultimate spot for foodies in Dubai.

At the fish market shoppers can find over 350 different species of fish from the region and around the world, from retailers offering fresh, dried and live fish at the regions largest seafood market. Open throughout the day and night, the fish market attracts restaurateurs and supermarket chains nightly to bid for the freshest produce at its lively fish auction.

Within the meat market, shoppers can source all types of meat and cuts form the different stalls. Supporting local businesses, the meat market features a wide range of quality local and regional meat and also a selection of imported meats. All the meat is halal and the choices range for lamb, beef, chicken, goat and camel.

Shoppers can also pop over to the fruit and vegetable market for the freshest seasonal fruit and vegetable, fresh herbs and of course a variety of dates.

With all these specialty areas to shop from, shoppers could be forgiven for forgetting about the rest of their family shopping needs, however they can do that without leaving the Waterfront Market, which boasts a Lulu Hypermarket on site with all the products you would expect for household needs and complements the fresh food markets.

With all that shopping to do, why not relax at Waterfront Market with family and friends over a coffee, lunch or an evening meal at some of the most popular cafes and restaurants in Dubai?

The Waterfront Market opening hours are:

  • Fish Market - Open 24 hours, 7 days a week (Deep cleaning between 2pm to 4pm Saturday to Thursday and 12pm to 1.30pm Friday)
  • Meat And Poultry Market - Open 24 hours, 7 days a week
