UAE is all set to celebrate the one year countdown to the start of the eagerly awaited Expo 2020. Celebrating the occasion of one year to go till Expo 2020 Dubai, all seven Emirates will host live performances, firework displays and light-shows on Sunday, 20 October. Dubai will see global superstar Mariah Carey perform at Burj Park along with Emirati singer Hussain Al Jassmi.

Entry is free across all events but limited by ticket availability, so grab your complimentary tickets as soon as these are available online to the public from 3pm on Monday, 7 October.

Here’s what each Emirate is up to on Sunday, 20 October:

Dubai will see live performances from global superstar Mariah Carey and Hussain Al Jassmi, at Burj Park. Also performing are local artists DJ Bliss, Abri and The Funk Radius and Khalifa. The evening will also feature a countdown to the ‘1 Year to Go’ moment with a fireworks display and a Burj Khalifa LED show. It will also be the first public appearance of the Expo 2020 mascots that were revealed recently

Abu Dhabi will host live performances by Layla Kardan, Sandra Sahi and Stephon LaMar at Louvre Abu Dhabi.

Sharjah will host live performances by Clarita de Quiroz, ROOH and Benna Duo at the Al Majaz Waterfront.

Ajman will host live performances by Hydyy Brown, Arqam "Chakram" Al Abri and Igor "Bu Oleg” Ivanovic at Ajman Museum.

Fujairah will host live performances by Bafoory, Ghaliaa and Aman Sheriff at Fujairah Fort.

Ras Al Khaimah will host live performances by Nutella Riot and Souldier The Artist at Al Qawasim Corniche.

Umm Al Quwain will host live performances by As Per Casper and Mohamed Hosny at Umm Al Quwain Corniche

The celebrations across all Emirates will take place from 5pm until 10pm along with a host of entertainment and food options for adults and children. All other six Emirates will host a live broadcast of the Dubai show.
