Updated on 25 September 2019

World-renowned obstacle course challenge Tough Mudder is partnering with Dubai Fitness Challenge and is confirmed as the main event of the final weekend of the annual month long fitness challenge.

Taking place at Dubai Festival City on 15 November 2019, participants can choose from Tough Mudder 5k that includes 13 plus obstacles on a 5km route, Tough Mudder Classic that includes 25 plus obstacles on a 10km route and brand new for this year, Tougher Mudder – a timed, competitive race - which will take place on the Tough Mudder Classic route but with prizes. Kids can also join in with Mini Mudder, a 1.6km course for 5 to 13-year olds.

Some of the new challenges introduced this year are Black Widow where a series of 30 foot long elevated tightropes are suspended over water, and Leap of Faith where you commit to clearing a 6 foot water-filled gap, then grab tight to the hanging rope net.

Samer Zabian, Director, Residential and Commercial Property, Dubai Festival City says: “Dubai Fitness Challenge has become a renowned event in Dubai’s calendar. It lives by its promise of making the entire city active for 30 days. Dubai Festival City has been the hub for the opening carnival and we are back again with a promise of being bigger and better. This year, in addition to the entire destination being active for 30 days, visitors and residents can also participate and test their teamwork at the biggest Tough Mudder celebration, in association with Sabco Sports and Tough Mudder Inc, as part of the closing weekend of the 30 x 30 Fitness Challenge.”

Tickets are now available at www.toughmudder.ae with a special discount of Dhs 75 off all adult tickets before 30 September 2019. After that, tickets start from Dhs 350 for adults and tickets for the children's Mini Mudder are Dhs 100
