Outdoor Cinema Is Back

As we get closer and closer to the cooler climates and pleasurable outdoor weather, there are a load of outdoor events and experiences which we will see return from October.

One of these is the Urban Outdoor Cinema which has recently announced its return date and schedule for the coming months.

Returning on Saturday 12 October at the Habtoor Grand in Dubai Marina, the Urban Outdoor Cinema is set to bring us a great selection of blockbuster movies screened under the stars.

Movie fans will be able to choose from three movies running every Saturday, Sunday and Monday with an exception of a one-off Halloween special screening on Thursday 31 October at their outdoor cinema venue in Dubai Marina.

The first week will start off with the screening of the Queen biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody on  Saturday 12 October followed by the latest action packed Marvel movie Avengers: Endgame on 13 October, and Tom Cruise starring Top Gun on 14 October.

Next on the schedule are Lady Gaga’s smashing hit A Star is Born, The Goonies and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.

A Halloween special week will see will screenings of The Shining, Beetlejuice and The Lost Boys followed by a Halloween special screening of Hocus Pocus on Thursday, 31 October.

Tickets are available on the door at the Habtoor Grand’s Beach Lawn or online at Platinum List with tickets for all screenings priced at Dhs 75 per person.

As you sit cozily watching the movies outdoor, you also order the usual cinema snacks including pizza and tapas without the need to get off your chair, a waiter service is on hand.

All shows start at 7.30 pm.
