Royal Family Celebrate Sheikh Mohammed's Daughter's Wedding

Sheikha Maryam bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, daughter of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, married Sheikh Khaled bin Mohammad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, a member of the Abu Dhabi Royal Family on Thursday.

Congratulations for the newly wedded couple started to pour on Royal Family members' social media accounts on Friday morning.

The news of couple’s engagement last year on August 24 made headlines after Royal Family members congratulated them on their social media accounts.

Sheikh Khaled is a member of the Abu Dhabi Royal Family. He graduated from the British Royal Academy Sandhurst in the UK and was awarded the Major General Diwan Misri Chand Platoon Award for demonstrating outstanding innovation and purpose during the training course.

Earlier this year in June, the Royal Family celebrated the weddings of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation.
