Environmentally Friendly Shopping Bags Come To Dubai

In order to reduce its environmental footprint, Virgin Megastore is replacing all its single-use plastic shopping bags with AVANI’s Bio-Cassava bags which are 100% natural, biodegradable, compostable, recyclable and certified non-toxic.

These bags, fully compostable within 180 days or less, dissolve in water and are proven to be harmless to animals.

These bags come with juicy punch lines like ‘It’s only natural’ and ‘This bag is a hero’ encouraging consumers to contribute to the environment and inspire others to reduce the use of plastic.

These environmentally friendly bags will be rolled out across Virgin Megastores this year.

We can expect more brands to join the bandwagon as AVANI announces its plans to open a production plant in the  Middle East with a capacity of making 1.2 million bags per month.
