Updated on 11 September 2018

Are you over 18? Well, that’s all it takes to become a ‘Face of Expo 2020 Dubai.’ The House of Volunteers is looking for 30,000 volunteers to partake in the Expo 2020 experience. Candidates need only apply via the website: volunteers.ae and require no qualifications, plus, the hours are flexible too.

8,000 volunteers have already been selected and 260 recruits will undergo the 20-minute interview process a day.

The House of Volunteers was inaugurated yesterday by Her Excellency Reem Al Hashimy, UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director General, Dubai Expo 2020 Bureau.

Her Excellency Reem Al Hashimy said, “The world is coming to the UAE in 2020, and volunteers will play an integral role in delivering an exceptional visitor experience for millions of people. They will be the face of this momentous global celebration, so we wanted to create an exclusive hub for them.” The Expo is expected to receive 25 million visits, with more than 200 participants including nations, multilateral organisations, businesses and educational institutions. This will make Expo 2020 one of the most inclusive World Expos in history.
